Privacy Policy
We collect no personal information
This site collects no personal information — no names, addresses, birthdays or email addresses, and no accounts. Your quiz guesses and taps are never sent off your device; they are processed only inside your browser. The site is designed to be safe for children (COPPA-friendly by design: we ask for nothing, store nothing about you, and the only automatic record is the short-lived server log described below).
No cookies, no tracking
We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics tools. Nothing on this site sends data to any other company while you use it.
What is stored on your device (badge book)
Your collected badges and settings are stored only in your browser (localStorage). They contain no personal information and are never transmitted. You can erase everything anytime with the reset button on the badge page. The quizzes work even if storage is unavailable.
External links (sharing)
If you tap a share button, your browser opens X (an external service) with a pre-filled post. Like any link, X then receives a standard web request including this page's title and address — but nothing is posted unless you post it yourself. External sites have their own privacy policies.
Server access logs (what is recorded and for how long)
Like every website, our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) automatically records standard access logs: the IP address of the device, the browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure and to review visits in aggregate (for example, how many people used a page). The operator reviews them in summary form and then deletes the copies; we do not use them to identify anyone, to contact anyone, to build profiles, to show advertising, or to track anyone across other sites. This is the site's data retention policy: we keep no data about visitors beyond these short-lived logs.
Contact
For questions, data corrections or feedback, please use our contact form (opens in a new tab) (for grown-ups; please don't include children's names or school names). The form is hosted by Google Forms, an external service with its own privacy policy.
